This is simply an amazing bread knife. It will cut bread better than any conventional bread knife on the market. Hot bread, crusty French, tough bagels, and mushy sourdough can be cut with ease. In addition, this knife can be used for vegetables, fruits and cheeses. After slicing, simply clean the blade & wipe dry. The high-carbon steel blade never needs sharpening. Occasionally apply a coat of mineral oil to both the blade and handle. The Bow Knife is the modern adaptation of a primitive tool used in rural Scandinavia & the world over. Totally handcrafted of Minnesota hard maple, each knife has the same clean, smooth lines that are used in Scandinavian design today. This right handed version is also available as left handed.
