The City of Chisholm has been through total devastation by fire in the early 1900's, being rebuilt by determined immigrants and the many ups and downs of our Iron Range economy so often being affected by the local iron ore mines.  As "Rangers" work to stay abreast of changing times, we work even harder to maintain our lifestyle with the love of our families & our "10,000 lakes" being a large part of it.  This new generation may not be those original immigrants who settled the area, but we are still proud of our ancestors, our families & heritage and what we have given to our area.
