Store Policies SECURITY: All of your personal & credit information will be kept securely & privately by UpNorth Sundries. Our SSL Certificate Provider is Thawte Inc Whom we use to secure communications by encrypting data to and from our site. Please look for the Lock Symbol and/or the Thawte Trust Seal on our pages for more information. Never enter personel information on any site that is not using the secure server side of your browser ie https:// instead of http:// during checkout. We will never sell or provide this information to any solicitors or companies. SHIPPING: UpNorth Sundries does not ship orders processed online to outside the United States. However if you contact us we can request accurate shipping rates through our shippers to get you an accurate international rate. Please be aware that rates to ship outside the US run much higher than standard rates and carry additional fees, customs duties, special paperwork etc.. At this time, UpNorth Sundries will be using UPS Ground for all online shipping. A valid physical address must be provided. They do not service PO, APO or FPO addresses. If an address correction is charged back by the company due to your incorrect listing of delivery address, your account will be charged the amount billed. We will do its best to ship your order as soon as possible. Most orders should be shipped within two business days. We do our best to maintain accurate inventory counts within our site. Should any item inadvertently be unavailable at the time of your order, you will be contacted by email to confirm whether you want to have the item back-ordered or if you want to cancel any or all of your order. EMAIL AND PHONE ORDERS: For any inquiries, you may contact us by phone at (218) 254-4990 or by email at service@upnorthsundries.com with your order. Never send any credit card information through email correspondence! Through a phone order, you may use a credit card, check or money order for payment. The latter two would have to be fully cleared before any items will be shipped. This process may take up to 10 business days. We do not accept COD orders. DAMAGE: Any damage incurred during shipping MUST BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE CARRIER UPON RECEIPT. UPS offers insurance coverage for the first $100 in value within the basic rate and if necessary, additional insurance is added when shipped. We will package your items securely & UpNorth Sundries is not responsible for breakage during shipping. Claims must be made through the the shipping company. Contact service@upnorthsundries.com if you need assistance REFUSED SHIPMENTS: Any shipments refused at delivery due to "changing your mind", etc. will be charged a 25% restocking fee plus any and all shipping/handling charges. RETURNS: All returns are to be completed within 7 days of receipt of order. Shipping/handling charges are not refundable. Any items sent as gifts will be refunded in the form of a store credit to be used online or at our storefront in Chisholm MN. All other returns will either be exchanged or be credited to the account which was previously charged. Items must be in original packaging/labeling and be in resalable condition. All return shipping/handling fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Returned items should be shipped with a traceable company. There are no returns on Special Order Items. GUARANTEES: UpNorth Sundries makes no guarantees as to the characteristics or durability of natural wood products or mouth blown crystal & glass. Slight imperfections & variations do not detract from, but rather enhance the beauty of handcrafted items. We strive to maintain an inventory of quality products & take pains to maintain accurate inventory counts within the site but cannot guarantee availability of all items at all times nor will published prices be guaranteed for extended periods. |
